The Institutional Vision of Stone Table

The institutional vision of Stone Table is the development of credible academic environments that serve the Christian family in the area of values, character, and academic excellence. As a result, our institutional vision is subject to our core values.

1) Lordship: Stone Table is a Christian institution dedicated to tearing down any academic thought that elevates itself against the Lordship of Christ. Therefore, at no time will Stone Table seek State approval of faculty, textbooks, or curriculum beyond the reasonable aforementioned demands.

2) Covenant: Stone Table believes that a proper Christian approach to academics ought in no way to diminish the authority and the responsibility of the family. Stone Table seeks families to which our institution can submit in the area of Christian family values and family aspirations for their young. If we must, Stone Table will resort to a Category IV school in order to remain faithful to our vision.

3) Accountability: Stone Table is currently seeking affiliation with Christian Schools International for the 2005-2006 school year. Nevertheless, we seek to achieve our own accreditation through a growing credibility in the community by actively seeking to develop relationships with churches, community groups, families, and schools. (To view detailed information regarding the TN Guidelines for Non-Public Schools follow this link.)

4) Discipleship: Stone Table is committed to a superior form of academic excellence on the basis of discipleship. The ratio of godly teachers to students is of chief priority in our school organization. We, therefore, will create a new school in the local area at the time our enrollment reaches 72 souls (full-time and part time).

5) Academic Excellence: Stone Table exists to assist the Church in the consolidation of its influence in the world. Therefore, our goal is the development of an academic excellence that can be duplicated in the Church, the development of a variety of leaders who will duplicate themselves in the church, and the gradual influence and mastery in and over the various areas to which our students are called.
